Cherry Chocolate Granola Bars – guest post on Empowered Sustenance

July 9, 2015 by Heather Resler

Yesterday I was so honored to guest post on Empowered Sustenance! Lauren is so amazing and if you’re not already following her, so do so!

Coconut Cherry Paleo "Granola" Bars | Cook It Up Paleo

These cherry chocolate granola bars are full of nutritious seeds and dried cherries, and you can make them as sweet or not sweet as you like. ย They taste like a delicious granola nut bar, but they donโ€™t have any grains or nuts in them! They are held together with egg instead of rice syrup.

I’ve already commented on this recipe on Lauren’s site, but I feel like I have to do so again here because these bars have changed my life. A little dramatic, I know, but when you work full time and are on the GAPS diet anything that saves you time in the kitchen is life-changing and these bars do just that. I’ve made them with various combinations of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit and every batch has been perfect. Thank you so much!
