While we’re still getting a few chilly days here, spring has sprung in southern Wisconsin. And you know what that means; fresh berries and tropical fruits are appearing in the produce section!
Warmer weather definitely screams smoothies, and what better way to get all your colorful veggies and fruits than slurping up a smoothie? Perfect Supplements sent me their pure organic kale powder to make a recipe with. I was so impressed with the fresh flavor and vibrant color of this powder. I was also really excited because usually greens powders have wheat grass (which I can’t eat because I’m celiac) as well as fillers, flavors, artificial sweeteners, etc. You won’t find any of that junk in this great product from Perfect Supplements!
The kale flavor goes very nicely with the fresh fruit and lime in this smoothie; it’s the perfect refreshing afternoon treat or energizing breakfast!
