This is Mom’s super-special recipe that she came up with after she had tried to years to find a good recipe for spaghetti sauce. Finally, out of desperation, she threw the ingredients that she thought would taste good into a pot, and voila! The spaghetti sauce recipe that our whole family just loves! You’ve got to make this one; it’s so easy and delicous!
Mom’s Paleo Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
- ground beef – 1 pound
- canned crushed tomatoes – 28 oz.
- tomato paste – 6 oz.
- water – 1/3 to 1/2 cup
- mushrooms – 1-1/2 cups sliced
- dried basil – 1 teaspoon
- dried oregano – 1 teaspoon
- garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
- Heat up a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat and crumble in the ground beef. Cook, stirring often, until cooked through. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with your favorite paleo noodles, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and fresh herbs.
