I am so excited for Christmas!! Seriously though I’m feeling very self-righteous right now because I’ve got my Christmas shopping nearly done. That’s definitely not normal for me; usually I’m just starting shopping now.
But enough about me let’s talk about peppermint bark! I love chocolate, both dark and white, and this combo of the two together with delicious pepperminty-ness is simply amazing. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did and merry Christmas!
- Chocolate Layer:
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- White Layer:
- 1/3 cup cocoa butter
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Chocolate Drizzle:
- 3 tablespoons cocoa butter
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Combine all the chocolate layer ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat just until melted. Pour into an 8″x8″ glass dish and place in the freezer until solid.
- Combine all the white chocolate layer ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat until melted; pour over chocolate layer and put back in the freezer until solid.
- In a saucepan, combine chocolate drizzle ingredients and melt; drizzle over peppermint bark; freeze until solid and break into pieces.
