One of my favorite Christmas tradition that we have is Christmas Cocoa, which we drink while putting up our decorations. Mom used to use Swiss Miss and a candy cane stirrer, but now we enjoy this rich, peppermint-y version of Christmas Cocoa. Enjoy!
Peppermint Paleo Hot Cocoa

Ingredients
- So Delicious coconut milk (or other milk of choice) – 2-2/3 cups
- canned full-fat coconut milk – 1-1/3 cups
- cocoa powder – 1/4 cup
- pure maple syrup – 1/4 cup
- pure vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
- pure peppermint extract – 1/3 teaspoon
- salt – pinch
Instructions
- To a medium-sized saucepan, add all the ingredients. Use a whisk to mix well. Heat up on the stove on high heat, whisking often to create frothiness and completely mix in all of the cocoa powder. When the cocoa is steamy, serve alone or with whipped cream!
